2007-2008 Web Design Overview
Each team will receive the following information regarding the hypothetical non-profit organization:
- Organization Overview
- Target Audience
- Section 508 Compliance Requirements for Web-based intranet and internet information and applications.
- Official Logos
- Copies of information for content of site
Teams will not be allowed to use any external or 3rd party resources to assist in the design. The idea is for competitors to use common Web design tools and skills to achieve their goal.
Please read over the national information and general contest information regarding what is expected. We will be following a very similar schedule and scoring system!
Tuesday, April 29th: 2:30pm - Meet at contest site to pick up Contest Information Packet and Q&A Session.
Wednesday, April 30th: 8:30am-12:30pm - Meet at contest site for contest completion. Presentation of website & written test (25 questions) must be completed on site.
Please remind your contestants that they should behave and dress professionally. This is part of their score!
