SkillsUSA History Our Mission: "To help promote SkillsUSA in terms of time, talent and financial resources at all levels —the local, district, state and national." Who are we? Friends of Alabama Career and Technical Education: Former SkillUSA/VICA members, advisors, administrators, industry representatives and YOU. What do we do? We assist the Alabama SKillsUSA Director with all Skills and Leadership Events.
Some of our activities include: - Providing Scholarships for Career Tech Students
- Judging Leadership Contest
- Judging Skills Contest
- Serving as Contest Chairmen
- Serving as Technical Committee Chairmen
- Officer Training (local, state and national)
- Coordinating Entertainment for SkillsUSA Events
- Direct Stage Lighting, Audio and Video Productions of Career/Technical Education Organizations
- Provide Musical DJ service to various Career Tech Organizations

What about Membership Dues? We do not charge for State Dues. National Annual Dues are free .
